Whether it's a crawl space floor or a basement wall assembly, uncontrolled vapor transmission feeds humidity, mold, and musty odors long before anyone notices actual liquid water.

Four commitments that separate a properly trained vapor barrier installation crew from a generalist showing up with a truck and a hope.
Technicians understand vapor drive direction, dew point calculation, and mil-thickness requirements specific to your climate and application.
Assessments for musty odor, visible condensation, or elevated humidity readings are typically scheduled within a few days.
Seam sealing and pier wrapping, where applicable, are included in the itemized quote rather than charged separately.
We install 10-20 mil reinforced polyethylene for floor applications, thick enough to resist puncture from foot traffic.
Each service below is scoped specifically to vapor barrier installation, not a generic waterproofing menu with the name swapped in.
Barrier is run up piers and foundation walls, not just laid flat, since ground moisture can wick up unsealed vertical surfaces just as easily.
Particularly important before finishing a basement, since trapped vapor behind drywall is a common and expensive cause of mold discovery years later.
A vapor barrier is only as effective as its seams and edges — gaps at walls, piers, or overlaps undermine the entire system's performance.
Each pier is individually wrapped and sealed to the main barrier so the system performs as one continuous vapor block.
Proper termination at wall-floor transitions prevents the barrier edge from curling or separating over time.
Four steps, start to finish — from your call to a sealed, tested vapor barrier system.
Assessments are typically scheduled within a few days across Mattoon, IL.
You'll get a text confirmation with your arrival window.
You'll see the barrier material and seaming method explained before agreeing to the quote.
Vapor barrier installations carry a written warranty against seam separation and material failure.
